详细说明: THE XANNO COLLECTION An amazingly preserved, intensely blazing lustrous RED cent, is tied for SECOND FINEST graded by PCGS. A glowing, flaming RED mint brilliance shines brightly on both sides. Hints of variegated red coloration can be seen, especially on the obverse, giving this SUPERB GEM a great look. Sharply struck up with essentially full, crisp devices. The dies were starting to wear out as when this example was struck, with crumbling and die flow seen on both sides. The surfaces are without flaw, and the eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 29, NGC 4, CAC 5. There has not been a PCGS/CAC SUPERB RED GEM sold in auction since the Perfection I Collection sold in the 2016 FUN auction, realizing $6,463 over half a decade ago. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $5,500 and the CAC CPG value is $7,810. Just three are graded finer in MS67+ RD at PCGS, and we sold a CAC-approved example for a world record $28,200 in February 2021.
