This is a truly beautiful example of the type! Essentially of GEM quality this coin has a rich, old fashioned album toning scheme, enlivened by a brilliant underlying mint frost. The surfaces offer a stunning mix of aqua and teal blue tones surrounding a tangerine center on the obverse, while the reverse has concentric bands of rainbow toning, yielding to a brilliant silver center. The eye appeal is great and we are unsure why CAC did not bean it! PCGS 134, NGC 146. This coin brought $793 in July 2021, a testament to the absolutely beautiful eye appeal.
