详细说明: Another FABULOUS GEM 1880 Proof Trade dollar. A Proof Only issue, struck for collectors, this date is VERY RARE any finer than the PR66 grade level offered here. Indeed PCGS has graded just 8 finer in the designation. Deeply toned mirrored surfaces have a warm brown hue when viewed head on, but when rotated in a light rich blue, red, orange, and amber hues come to the fore. Flashy reflective fields are icy smooth, save for a lint mark in the obverse field, otherwise the surfaces are FLAWLESS. The devices are razor sharp and the eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 28, NGC 39, CAC 14. The most recent sold for $9,000 in the 2018 FUN auction, while prior to that, one sold for $15,275 in February 2015. The current CAC CPG value is $10,900 and the PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $10,000. Just eight are graded finer, this GEM is worthy of an amazing GEM set. Good luck. Cert.
