Wonderfully reflective fields show a touch of swirling luster that glows on both sides of this GEM Lib nickel. The 1885 is the KEY issue among circulation strikes, putting strong demand on the Proofs to fill a difficult hole in a GEM set. A delicate golden iridescent tone gently caresses both sides. The details show needle-point precision and the surfaces are defect free overall. PCGS 10, NGC 2. There has not been one sold since 2015, and the market has changed since then.
