- Highly Attractive 5 Guineas of William & Mary. GREAT BRITAIN. 5 Guineas, 1692. William & Mary (1689-94). NGC AU-53. Fr-300; KM-479.2; S-3423. Elephant hallmark below conjoined busts which indicates gold from the Africa Company. In terms of condition the grade on the NGC holder does not necessarily denote quality. No major contact marks, abrasions or haymarks to speak of that are usually found on this type. Excellent eye appeal, well struck with luster in the protected areas and attractive honey-gold tone throughout with just a hint of ginger toning in the peripheries. Estimate: $36,000 - $42,000.
