详细说明: 1866-S Liberty Half Eagle. No Motto. EF-45 (NGC). Deep honey gold with a hint of mint frost in the protected areas. Lightly scattered field marks are present, none of them offensive to the unassisted eye. One of just 9,000 sans motto examples of the date struck, and a rare item across the board -- no Mint State examples of the date have been graded by NGC. For the record, the PCGS on-line Population Report suggests that fewer than 100 1866-S No Motto half eagles exist, and that firm has not graded a Mint State example either! Rarity comes to the fore with this offering.
