详细说明: A lovely example of this Rarity-4- Overton variety, this NGC MS65 is TIED FOR FINEST in the Condition Census. Peripheral tangerine-rose and teal-blue frames brilliant silver centers on both sides, though more pronounced and vivid on the obverse. Well struck in the centers, there is a hint of weakness on the dentils on the upper obverse rim and in the azure of the shield. The eye appeal is very pleasing. This GEM is the second example enumerated in Stephen Herrman's Autumn 2022 revision of the AMBPR. Ex Heritage, July 2009, lot 1603. PCGS 17, NGC 30. It has been more than two years since the last NGC MS65 sold in auction. Three examples sold in 2020, realizing in the $3,360 to $3,840. Back in 2009, this coin sold for $5,750.
