- A wonderful, original example, likely from an old European holding. Gentle wear is seen on both sides. A rich, olive green-gold patina encapsulates the obverse, while the reverse has a similar look, along with tinges of orange-gold. The surfaces are free of distracting marks, ticks, or lines, and the eye appeal is quite nice. This "crusty" original look is so much more desired than the typically seen conserved pieces. PCGS 63, NGC 157. The last five NGC-graded examples have sold in the $6,600 to $7,800 range. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $11,500.
