- CHINA. China - Great Britain. Birmingham. Taylor & Challen, Ltd. Minting Machinery Advertising Token, ND (ca. 1900). PCGS AU-58 Brown. CCC-782. Diameter: 39.5 mm. Plain edge. Obverse: Image of a coin press; Reverse: English inscription in five lines, Chinese inscription in center "Ying Guo Bo Ming Han Di Fang Zhui La Che Lun Zhi Zao Chang". This nicely preserved and very handsome piece displays lovely chocolate brown patina with areas of richer coloration amongst the devices. The devices are boldly struck and well defined with clear strokes in the calligraphy. This seldom encountered issue is pleasing to the eye and is sure to see spirited bidding from many collectors.
