- MEXICO. 1/2 Real, 1762-MoM. Charles III (1759-88). PCGS MS-64+ Secure Holder. KM-68; Gil-M-05-39a; Yonaka-M05-62b; Cal-Type 176#1751. Single second finest graded at PCGS with only one finer by a mere half grade point (MS-65). Variety with A and V intruding on lateral crowns. Sharp strike (though somewhat crude) with attractive aqua highlights in otherwise dark russet toning. A beautiful near-Gem example with great eye appeal sure to see spirited bidding.
