- (1874) Ashantee medal. Bronzed copper, 36 mm. MY-126. SP-64 (PCGS). The highly detailed reverse is fully struck and bold in a way that a distributed silver medal would never be, with crisp fine details throughout. A light blue tone is present over the nicely bronzed surfaces. A single spot is noted at the central obverse. Estimate: $300 - $600. Provenance: From the Gem Collection.
