Only 3,000 1879 $3 gold coins were struck, and this is a beautiful coin, graded ages ago by NGC and worthy of its GOLD CAC bean as it is VERY CONSERVATIVELY graded. This is the ONLY GOLD BEANED 1879 $3. Ultra brilliantly mirrored luster boldly flashes and beams from all over. Sharply struck and richly frosted devices give this coin a very Prooflike look.
