From the Premier Barber Collection. Hard to believe this incredible piece which is one of the finest O Mints in existence (actually it is the second finest known for the date). That is totally mind blowing! The quality is pure MS68 all the way (and is backed up by the GOLD CAC bean). Absolutely flawless surfaces are story in themselves. They are the epitome of perfection-even if you scrutinize them via a neutron microscope. The surface texture is thick and satiny. A moderate luster (never saw an 00-O with blazing luster) does beam from all over. A super mix of totally original olive/gold/champagne/green colors evenly covers both sides. The colors are not dull. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck (also hard to find on an O Mint) and are lightly frosted. The eye appeal is the same as the coins quality- incredible! Although not mentioned on the insert this is the Eliasberg coin, which was another coin that is ex Clapp, purchased straight from the mint at the time of issue. PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 3. This is the ONLY MS67+ graded. The current Collectors Universe Value is $20,000. This coin is of such crazy quality it is more than worth it!
