- Contemporary Counterfeit 1712-D 30 Deniers, or Mousquetaire. In Imitation of Lyon Mint. Vlack-Unlisted. Fine Details--Environmental Damage (PCGS). 34.2 grains. Another Vlack-Unlisted contemporary counterfeit type in the 30 deniers series, quite crude overall, yet with most design elements appreciable, if not bold. Dark steel-olive surfaces with a soft bend at upper right relative to the obverse, granular throughout, couple of small digs. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
