- 1883 Hawaii Ten Cents. Medcalf-Russell 2CS-1. Proof-61 (PCGS). A very rare offering for the advanced Hawaiiana collector, the 1883 Kingdom of Hawaii Ten Cents has an original mintage of just 26 coins in proof format. Attractively toned in iridescent champagne-apricot and powder-blue colors, both sides of this piece are also possessed of razor-sharp striking detail. Smoother than expected at the assigned grade level, with considerable vibrancy shining forth from the fields as the coin dips into a light. Sure to be of keen interest to specialists.
