1829/7 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-101. Rarity-1. AU-50 (NGC). OH. The overdate is not denoted on the old style NGC holder, the insert of which attributes the coin merely as 1829. Sharply defined and minimally worn with the ""look"" of a Choice AU grade, both sides are richly toned in a blend of olive-gray, reddish rose and cobalt blue patina. Remnants of a semi prooflike finish are also easily seen as the surfaces rotate under a light.
