MEXICO. 8 Reales, 1836-Ga JG. Guadalajara Mint. NGC MS-62. KM-377.6; DP-Ga15. Tied for finest certified of the date/Assayer combination with one other example at NGC and one in the PCGS census, none graded finer. From aging dies the obverse exhibits a sharp strike while the reverse displays a slight weakness on the eagle's breast. Nearly blast white satiny surfaces with a nice cartwheel effect. An attractive example that seldom appears on the market sure to excite many collectors. Estimate: $700 - $900.
