- Sheldon-11c "single leaf". For the most part this is a boldly delineated example for the relatively strongly worn commercial grade of "choice fine", such that all of the devices are strongly outlined at minimum, and hair strands show some deeper separation closer in from the ends. Deep, generally even chocolate-brown with slightly steely bluish highlights, blankets the entire surface, although subtle reddish tints show under powerful illumination. The rim as viewed from the obverse mostly shows mild wear over the edges, excepting for a few light bruises at the top. The reverse edge seems a little less affected by contact. Strewn across the surface are a few very tiny planchet voids, likely present when struck, and perhaps up to a dozen delicate hairline scratches crisscross on the reverse, now completely unobtrusive because they are so well worn into the field and colored the same chocolate brown as the surrounding area.
