1872 Seated Liberty Silver Dollar. Proof-64 Cameo (NGC). Richly frosted design elements and brightly reflective fields display a whisper of pale golden toning. One of 950 proofs of the date struck, though Breen (1988) noted "some proofs melted after July 10, 1873." Doubling seen at IN GOD in reverse motto. Choice for the grade with an abundance of eye appeal.
