- Very high end for the issue! This is what a PCGS MS66 DMPL CAC 85-O dollar should look like. Deeply reflective mirrored fields beam boldly all over on this PQ GEM. Thickly frosted devices show bold, sharp strikes. The originality is undisputed, as evidenced by the fingerprint toning on the obverse and a hint of toning at the lower reverse rim. The eye appeal is unmarred by that or any marks of any kind. PCGS 52, NGC 20, CAC 13. The most recent example we sold was a non-CAC MS66 DMPL that brought $2,585 in our May 2021 Regency Auction.
