- BOLIVIA. Cob 4 Reales, 1687-P. Potosi Mint; Assayer Pedro de Villar (VR). Charles II. PCGS EF-40. KM-25; Cal-534. Weight: 12.84 gms. An presentable cob with attractive toning and crisp details. The obverse has some areas of flatness but displays both mintmarks, an assayer's monogram, and the date in bold detail. The reverse includes a well-struck assayer's monogram. Though some overlapping strike obscured the upper castle and lion, it allowed the reverse denomination mark to fit onto the flan. Estimate: $250 - $400. Provenance: From the Pat Johnson Collection.
