Ex Gerald R. Forsythe Collection, as noted on the oversized holder. What a high end quality and visually wonderful SUPERB GEM example of the date, one of the FINEST three examples graded. You know that if its from the Forsythe Collection, the quality is all there and then some! WOW! The intensely mirrored fields are deeply beaming with bold nickel-sliver reflection. Razor sharp, thickly frosted devices provide a high end cameo contrast. A delicate golden dusting on both sides give this lovely coin touch of color. The eye appeal is off the charts and it would be impossible to find a FINER example! Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 20, NGC 20, CAC 18. PCGS has graded 3 in PR66+ CAM and NONE FINER. We have had the honor of selling two of these, most recently in March 2020 for $5,288 and the Trzaska Collection coin in December 2019 for $11,163.
