(t) CHINA. Kiangnan. 7 Mace 2 Candereens (Dollar), CD (1904)-HAH CH. Nanking Mint. NGC MS-63. L&M-257; K-99; KM-Y-145a.12; WS-0858. Variety without dots under "chia" and "chen" and without dot before "7 MACE". A wonderful Choice Mint State example with full flashy luster. The dragon is mostly tone free save some areas near the peripheries. The character side, while also lustrous is extremely eye pleasing with almond, to plum to blue tones around the peripheries. In our recent September 2021 Hong Kong sale, a PCGS MS-63 sold for $14,400 and this present example carries far more eye appeal and should bring strong bidding. Estimate: $5,000 - $10,000.
