1802/1 Capped Bust Right Half Eagle. BD-8. Rarity-4. AU-55 (NGC). This boldly defined, mostly lustrous early half eagle would make a fine addition to a high grade type or date set. Overall satiny in texture, the surfaces are appealing bright medium gold. While not a major rarity among 1802/1 half eagle die marriages, BD-8 is scarce. Well struck and nicely preserved, this attractive Choice AU is sure appeal to advanced collectors. PCGS# 8083. NGC ID: 25NX.
