The very finest enumerated by Stephen Herrman in the Autumn 2022 AMBPR, we would like to know where the MS66 and MS67 examples listed in the Overton-Parsley Census are! Known as the "button cap" variety, due to a little die lump that appears in the front of the cap, in between the folds, looking like a tiny button holding down the top portion to the lower. This coin was last offered in our May 2016 Regency Auction, where it was described as: "EX FRIEND. Highly lustrous and beautifully toned in shades of teal, azure, and gold. What a great condition census example of the O-107 variety. Well struck and very attractive, showing only the tiniest number of minor scratches, visible only under a strong glass, that keep it from a full GEM designation." In October 2021, the most recent PCGS MS64+ sold for $10,800 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $12,500. This piece does not match the Buddy Byers nor the David Queller coins.
