- An exceptionally vibrant and brilliantly lustrous example of this first commemorative type. Bordering on a SUPERB grade. The obverse displays an exciting palette of swirling purples, tangerine, teal, peach, and pale sea-green coming together on lustrous surfaces. While the reverse has a softer crimson-rose and pale gold patina. Well struck devices and minimally marked surfaces define this wonderful GEM. PCGS 59, NGC 14. This coin is special because of the obverse toning, so we suspect it will sell in excess of its published PCGS Price Guide value of $1,150.
