- 1886 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-61 (PCGS). Impeccable striking definition and moderately reflective surfaces are important factors in the Proof status of this delicately toned specimen. Just 886 pieces were struck, a relatively tiny number by modern standards, but not out of line with typical Morgan dollar Proof issues. Both sides are awash in pale rose while the extreme peripheries are alight with vivid blue. An appealing example, and sure to be well-received as all Proof Morgan dollars are. PCGS# 7321.
