- 1723 Rosa Americana Penny. Martin 2.7-Eb.3, W-1278. Rarity-4. AU-50 (PCGS). A predominantly gray-brown example that does retain appreciable faded orange color in the more protected areas around and among the devices. This is a well defined piece from a nicely centered strike, although the denticulation is a bit thinner along the lower obverse and upper reverse borders.
