GREAT BRITAIN. Numismatic Society of London Golden Jubilee Silver Medal, 1887. PCGS SP-65 Secure Holder. 57 mm. BHM-3344; Eimer-1729. By J. Pinches. Bust of Sir John Evans right; Reverse: Inscription within wreath with legends around. A dazzlingly lustrous medal with prooflike surfaces and frosted devices. Incredibly well struck in high relief and very attractive. The gleaming surfaces are completely without sign of contact or wiping while the devices are equally well preserved. Some mild nearly invisible toning in fields with a touch of golden hue to the rims. Truly worthy of its gem designation. Estimate: $200 - $300. Provenance: From the Michael Druck Collection.
