详细说明: The 25-D cent was struck to the tune of more than 22.5 million pieces, but most examples, like many earlier dates were not kept in roll quantity with brilliant red surfaces, so any full red GEM is truly rare. Fewer than 100 have been graded by PCGS after over 33 years of grading. This example is quite lovely, with rich red color that is enlivened by a lustrous brilliance. The surfaces are free of any distracting marks, and a strong glass reveals nothing but a single tiny fleck in the obverse field. Sharply struck and the eye appeal is high end. PCGS 84, NGC 12, CAC 15. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,000 and the CAC CPG value is listed at $6,250. The last one to sell realized $3,600 in the 2020 FUN auction and was not CAC. EXTREMELY RARE any finer, with just 11 in MS65+ RD and 2 in MS66. The value jumps to $9,000 in MS65+ and $75,000 in MS66 RD. This is a great coin for any Lincoln cent collector looking to fill this hole or upgrade their set. Cert. Number 37655238 PCGS # 2563.00
