This is a very original and pleasing early No Motto $10. A satiny luster under the olive-tan golden toning accents the sharply struck devices. There are a few lines and scuffs, but overall, the eye appeal is quite charming. The mintage of 63,131 makes this a scarce date in AU and finer grades. The twenty coins found on the S.S. Republic were easily absorbed into the market. PCGS 14, NGC 38. The last one sold in an October 2016 internet auction for $2,200 and the current PCGS value is listed at $2,600. RARE any finer, PCGS has graded only 19 coins better than this AU55. Cert. Number 82915052 PCGS # 8582
