FROM THE ISSAQUAH ESTATE VERY HIGH END! You can tell this coin has been carefully stored for many years. Looking carefully at the surfaces using a strong glass, there are just a few super light ticks scattered about-not enough to be annoying or visual. A surprising luster is strong and glows from all over. This coin has deeper and totally original album-like colors. The rims are olive/blue while the centers are purple/purple-teal. We easily rank the reverse as a 64+. When this coin was originally graded, PCGS did not like deeper or darker colors. So they were harsh. Its okay because this coin today stands out as well preserved. Miss Liberty and all the details are extremely well struck. The eye appeal is pretty neat! PCGS 18, NGC 34, CAC 7. The last PCGS CAC MS64 to sell in auction brought $11,163 in August 2017. It was not this coin as we placed this piece back in 2007 for $15,000. If you like some color and are picky on quality, this 1853 will be welcome in your collection. Good luck! Cert. Number 5082800 PCGS # 6941
