The SOLE FINEST 1875 double dime in the Ultra Cameo designation at NGC. Blazing, untoned mirrors have a bold black and white contrast with the frosted devices. The mirrors are sleek, clean, and uber high end, and have an intense depth of clarity. The devices are razor sharp and have thick frost. A few die lines in the fields are noted, as are a stray microscopic line or two, but these have no impact on the amazing eye appeal. WOW, this is a beauty from the first year of this short lived obsolete type. PCGS 2, NGC 1. NONE ARE FINER at either service in the designation. This GEM brought $11,500 in November 2022--think about this, the last PCGS PR65 DCAM sold back in April 2009! If you need the highest graded D/UCAM for a date set, do not overlook this opportunity.
