Ex D.L. Hansen Collection, as noted on the insert. Dramatic concentric bands of rainbow toning create a perfect bulls eye pattern on the obverse, while the same hues form a gorgeous frame on the reverse, fading to brilliant original silver. The watery fields have a moderate reflection which might be all that held this Technicolor GEM from CAC approval. The eye appeal is truly captivating. Only 1,000 Proofs were struck. PCGS 9, NGC 13. PCGS has graded 7 finer. This coin brought $2,300 two years ago in an internet only auction, a premium of about 100% over other APRs for the same grade, clearly for its outstanding visual allure!
