详细说明: This is not a date or grade you see offered with dramatic color on both sides. This multicolored GEM was clearly stored for ages in paper, our guess, some sort of tissue or cigarette paper, then placed in a collector envelope. Smooth surfaces are enriched by a bold luster and sharply struck devices. Both sides are awash in a dappled melange of azure, gold, rose, apricot, peach, and coppery-red tones. As you rotate the brilliant surfaces in a light, you can see some semi-Prooflike reflection in the fields. The eye appeal is amazing. PCGS 2420, NGC 1306, CAC 181. PCGS has graded 116 in MS65+ and this date becomes very scarce higher. As a toned GEM, we expect this 78-CC to bring well in excess of the $2,850 listed in the PCGS Price Guide value. The value jumps to $6,000 in MS66. A great coin for anyone building a set of toned dollars by date. Cert. Number 28901064 PCGS # 7080
