- 1758-1759 British-American Victories Medal Muling. Betts-419. Brass. MS-63 (PCGS). 43 mm. Warmly toned in olive and gray-brown, both sides retain traces of original brassy-gold color in the protected areas around some of the design elements. Sharply to fully struck with a hard, satiny texture that is only a few faint carbon spots away from an even higher Choice Mint State rating. One of the most popular of the French and Indian War medals, this Betts number combines the celebratory reverses of Betts-416 and Betts-418 into a single medal listing the major British victories of the two busiest years of the Seven Years' War.
