Ex Fairmont Collection. HIGH END! You won't find many ever as nice as this coin! When you twirl the coin, you can actually see faint traces of prooflike mirrors by the devices. How cool! There are numerous tiny ticks scattered about the surfaces. Nothing detracts. There is a soft glowing luster that beams all over. Both sides are a totally original deeper gold color. This coin is NOT dirty nor does it have any discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and show only slight wear. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 28, NGC 33, CAC 4. This coin brought $6,600 in the 11/22 Fairmont sale. Many of those coins sold very reasonable. The price guides need to catch up to coins like these. This is a wonderful example of a tougher C Mint!
