What a neat GEM example of this important early date Buffalo nickel. Icy nickel silver luster blooms on both sides. Sharply impressed, this coin was struck from a late die state, where both sides show heavy flow lines created from die fatigue and both sides show neat die cracks, especially one that is seen at the reverse rim at 9:00 that crosses into the bison's head. There are a couple of very minor flecks and a small mark or two. Despite this, the eye appeal is exciting and is high quality. PCGS 7, NGC 0. PCGS has graded 34 examples finer. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,000 and there has not been a non CAC-example sold since the 2015 ANA auction. This coin, fresh to the market has a bold eye appeal and will bring a strong price. Worthy of a great set. Cert. Number 37595046 PCGS # 3938.00
