A SPECTACULAR 79-S dollar, clearly one of the FINEST examples extant. A blazing, blinding, brilliant cartwheel luster booms all over! The radiant brilliance is undeterred by toning, and the vastness of frost on Liberty’s cheek and neck remains as fresh as the day it was struck. The untoned bright white silver surfaces are simply stunning! The luster rolls along unimpeded by any marks and there are zero breaks on the frosty devices. Razor sharp definition on both sides and the thick frosty texture of the devices stand out boldly. The eye appeal is incredible! PCGS 156, NGC 174, CAC 63. PCGS has graded, 14 in MS68+ and there are NONE FINER! Six examples have sold in auction, ranging from $15,600 to $32,900. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $37,500.
