Bust representing the Republic to the left, wearing a plumed helmet adorned with a cock. "REPUBLIQUE / FRANCAISE" to left and right. Signed "DUVIVIER AN 8" below bust; Reverse: "CONSEIL / D'ETAT" above an olive demi-wreath. Lustrous pearl gray patina revealing flashes of golden orange when tilted. Estimate: $400 - $600.
