- 1875-CC Liberty Head Half Eagle. Winter 1-B. VG-8 (PCGS). Glints of original luster persist in the fields on both sides of this well circulated, yet thoroughly appealing Carson City Mint five. Much of the modest mintage of 11,828 pieces for the 1875-CC half eagle saw prolonged use in commerce, through which most examples were eventually lost.
