- GERMANY. Franconian Circle - Saxe-Launburg. 60 Kreuzer (Gulden), ND (1693-95). PCGS Genuine--Repaired, VF Details, Countermark: AU Details. KM-31.8. Issued by order of the Assay meeting of the three circles, which assembled at Nuremberg on 24 July to 3 August 1693, adopted by assay meeting of 12-22 December 1693 until at least 7 December 1695. Countermark: "FC" monogram with 60 N above. Applied to the obverse of a 1678 Saxe-Lauenburg 2/3 Taler of Julius Franz (1666-89) (KM-123). Estimate: $100 - $150.
