This is a very popular low mintage date in a GEM grade and PQ state of preservation. Flashy, semi-Prooflike luster is exceptionally brilliant when rotated in a light, especially on the untoned reverse. The obverse is gently kissed with a hint of iridescent patina. Sharply struck with thickly frosted devices, the coin has a fantastic look. Only 13,600 examples were struck for circulation and this one is in an optimal grade for the collector. PCGS 33, NGC 26, CAC 12. DO NOT LET the Pops fool you! The last PCGS/CAC MS66 hammered for $2,600 in our July 2016 Premier Session Internet Auction---that was over five years ago!!
