- 1729 Imitation 30 Deniers, or Mousquetaire. Leopold I of Lorraine. VF Details--Environmental Damage (PCGS). 30.6 grains. Differing from the example in the preceding lot, the reverse is nearly identical to that of the royal issues, but the obverse has a completely different eagle design. Granular olive and pewter-gray surfaces with most design elements appreciable to bold. Reverse flawed at left with numerous pin scratches. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
