Ex Eliasberg, as noted on the old green tag. A truly fabulous GEM from the most famous of all collections, Eliasberg. Deep, watery reflective mirrors gleam brilliantly on both sides accenting a wonderful original toning. Ex Eliasberg, Bowers & Merena/ Stack's, May 1996, lot 1187. Prior and subsequent provenance unknown. Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 31, NGC 32, CAC 2. The most recent sold for $1,440 in March 2021.
