- The Alabama is most often found "white" and a strongly original example can prove very elusive. NGC (and CAC) are happy with the somewhat deeper sienna-grey and amber tones that splash each side, and the cataloger can find no fault other than to say that the pattern is a bit unusual. Amazingly clean surfaces seem virtually pristine from the standpoint of contact marks.
