From the Hallett Collection. With only two coins graded finer, this SUPERB GEM is tied for second finest at PCGS. This coin is spectacular with sharply impressed design elements, with the fasces bands fully defined. There is an excellent vibrance to the mint luster on both sides, show off a flashy brilliance. The eye appeal is wonderful. PCGS 15, NGC 2. This coin sold in March 2013 for $8,813. The same grade as such famed collections as William Dominick (April 2001), Shapiro (January 2006), and Anne Kate (November 2006). The two coins graded finer are both MS67+ FB, and neither has been sold in auction since 2012 and if one was to come up for sale it would sell for five figures. Good luck! Cert.
