THE B.S.T. COLLECTION This GEM is incorrectly attributed as a Large Date, Large letters, but being from The O-110 die marriage, it is a Small Date, Small Letters. In the condition census for the variety, this is a totally original and highly attractive GEM! The correct PCGS# is 6166, not 6164. The O-110 is a Rarity-3+/Rarity-4-, somewhat scarce in all grades, extremely rare in this Condition Census grade. The die marriage is easily attributable by the circular die crack on the reverse that forms on the inside of the legends and wraps around all the devices on that side. An intensely vivid and brilliant luster radiates boldly on both sides of this GEM. The glorious flashy surfaces enliven the antique silver-gold surfaces with iridescent clear blue, coppery red peripheries. The devices are razor sharp and have full, crisp strikes. The surfaces are essentially without flaw, and the eye appeal is stunning. PCGS 14, NGC 59 (all varieties), CAC 9. These are few and far between. We cannot find an appearance of this coin, but it was acquired by our consignor privately from Legend Numismatics in November 2014. The PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $9,000 and the CAC CPG value is $10,300.
