详细说明: Ex Nancy and Bryan Collection, as noted on the insert. N-6, noted on the insert, a Rarity-1 die variety. A lovely GEM Mint State example struck from a late die state with die rust appearing as raised lumps on Liberty's cheek and in the fields. There is a die crack that connects 28 through star 13 and into star 12. Fairly well struck up, with the central star details mostly split and the devices are nice and crisp. Light brown and mahogany surfaces have some hints of olive, tan, and original underlying mint red. A bold bronze luster is seen on both sides. A small mark and toning spot is seen on the obverse, serving as pedigree markers. PCGS 11, NGC 2, CAC 2. This is the most recent example to sell, realizing $2,520 in February 2020. A non-CAC example which was not as attractive sold in April 2018 for $6,000. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,750 and the CAC CPG value is $9,060.
