Type I/II. A brilliant, pearlescent VERY CHOICE centennial year Trade dollar. Housed in an old green tag holder, this sharply rendered example displays a bold luster and faint iridescent silvery/white surfaces with a blush of the clearest gold. Some very minor, inconspicuous abrasions visible generally with the aid of a glass account for the assigned grade. Indeed, the initial look is that of a higher grade. VERY RARE any finer. PCGS 138, NGC 105, CAC 20. The most recent example to sell brought $3,052 in May 2022, and that coin had a rich, thick tone, where as this one is virtually blast white. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $3,500 and the CAC CPG value is listed at $3,750. It should be noted that a PCGS MS65 CAC sold recently for $13,200, so take advantage of this important opportunity. Cert. Number 1331652 PCGS # 7041
